Olympiad

 

K.V.P.Y./ N.T.S.E./ Olympiads/ National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship scheme/ Incentives to Girls for Secondary Education Scheme etc. ( To be displayed separately for each scheme/ exam.

1.      17^th students participated in the National Science Olympiad of which 8 students received school topper medals

2.      189 students participated in the International Maths Olympiad and 6 of them qualified  the 1^st round and won school Maths genius medals.

3.      117 students participated in the 12^th KVS Junior Mathematics Olympiad and 32 students participated in regional Maths Olympiad results are awaited.

Distinguishing Achievement

 

Mitul of Class VIII (1^st Shift) secured second level in science Olympiad. His National rank is 43 and he also scored the  rank of 884 in All India in National Cyber Olympiad. Mitul also secured the International rank 0f 339 in International Maths Olympiad

1. ·         Abhishek & Sachin of XI A got through NTSE 2006-07.
   Results were declared in 2007-08. Both of them will get scholarship of Rs. 6000/- per year till they continue to study.

2. In Green Olympiad organized by TERI on 29^th September 2007, 34 students participated of which two students Archana of std. VII and Parthiv of std. X received merit certificate.

3. In the 7^th National Cyber Olympiad held on 6^th Sept. 07, 33 students from class VI to XII participated. Prateek Gupta secured 325 rank in all India and was selected for 2^nd round of Olympiad .

4. In 10^th National Science Olympiad held on 29^th Nov’07 ,160 students from classes III to XII participated , 37 from II shift .10 students qualified and reached the 2^nd round .Shivani Srivastava of VI E and Rahul Sharma of IX E cleared the first round. Master Nalin of XII secured 382 rank in All India, Master Prateek Gupta of std. XII secured 531 rank in all India and Master Shashank Shekher Nayak secured 746 in All India .

5. 47 students of class VIII and 19 from X participated in 1^st stage NTSE exam 2007- 2008 held on 18^th Nov ‘07. Two students from the Vidyalaya were selected in 2006-07 exam.
