1.      22^nd April will be observed as Earth Day in the Vidyalaya .Two competitions will be conducted:- 

1. Poster Making Competition-Inter school camp will be conducted by Department of Environment ,Govt. of NCT Delhi
2. Art Competition for “Meri Delli,Meri Yamuna” campaign –an initiative of the Art of living foundation for students of III to X

2. Embassies OF Switzerland CONDUCTED A WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS OF IX AND X ON 6TH APRIL 2010 .THREE SESSIONS WERE CONDUCTED DURING THE WORKSHOP.    

classroom has been undertaken by the Vidyalaya to give a global outlook to the present curriculum. The Principal of the Vidyalaya Shri A. K. Pandey   visited the schools of U.K along with Education Officer Mrs Neelam Katara as Co.ordinator of the Project.

4. PEC – India – Pilot Programme : A UK – India sports Development initiative. It aims to facilitate the participation of children and young people around the world in sports and physical education with special emphasis an girls and children with disabilities

5. Annual Sports Day Celebrated on 26.11.2009 GYAN SEHRAWAT (Olympian) was the chief guest

6. Inter House English Poem recitation was held on 21.11.2009

6.      Kendriya Vidyalaya, Andrews Ganj observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 3^rd Nov’09 to 7^th Nov ’09.The week commenced   with the pledge on 3^rd Nov’09 at 11.am. Inter house slogan writing competition and Declamation competition on anti corruption theme were organized on 6^th and 7^th of November

7.      Slogan writing competition was held on 06.11.2009

8.      10 students from 1 shift and 6 students from II shift participated in TCS Quiz competition.

9.      Eight students are awarded for 11^th National science Olympiad

10.  Hindi Poem recitation was held on 31.10.2009

 23^rd Oct’09- Science Quiz was conducted by TIME for classes VIII , IX & X

24^th Oct’09 –HT Horizon conducted a workshop for classes XI& XII on career options.

26^th Oct’09 IX b&C Visited sriFort Auditorium for film screening.

11^th Nov’09 – was observed as National Education day. 50 Students from standard IX visited Vigyan Bhawan. Students of the school donated old books for the needy children.

3^rd Nov to 7^th Nov’09 was observed as Vigilance Awareness week.

26^th Nov’09 – School Sports Day

1^st Nov’09 – Grandparents Day celebrated

4^th Nov’09 – workshop a Health and Hygiene was conducted by procter and gamble

8^th Jan’10 – Tata building India organized a filmslow an Environment and its conservation for classes VI to XII.

5^th Feb’10 & 19^th Feb’10 – Lectures were delivered by brahm Kumaries on peace education in schools

16^th feb’10 – Times Of India organised a workshop on how to decorate a display board for 60 students of VIII std .

31 Aug’09 – 50 Students from 2^nd shift (IXA & XI B)

Visited the Parliament Library to watch a show on youth parliament.

All Students of the Primary wing visited Doll Musieum , Human Yun’s tomb, children park and Bal Bhawan.
